Transfering data from Informix to Mysql

Hi all, I am very new to informix and need to be able to transfer data from an informix database to a mysql database on a regular basis.

In a prior job i had the luxury of the ms Sql and the DTS, but no longer.

I would be grateful for any help on how i could do this. I am hoping that there might be a free tool or something to allow it to be done.
