I need to upgrade 2003 Standard, to Enterprise. Are the existing CALs transferable, or do we need to purchase new ones?

Thanks, Chris

Chris

IT would be the perfect job......if it didn't have users!!!

Windows 2003 CALs are Windows 2003 CALs. There aren't seperate CALs for Enterprise and Standard.

Thanks Denny,

That seems to be such a simple answer, but has proved to be very elusive over two days of searching.

Microsoft Licensing is one of the places where they really need to put more info up on their website.
