Transfering an external call and coverage Problem

I have a coverage path which is set to n on for all internal calls but yes for external calls.

It works with no problems all external call go to cover.

However if I transfer an external call to any station that has this cover path the 8300 sees the call as internal and it does not go to cover.
The station knows the call is external as it has the external call ring and the CLI info is that of an external call.

I have changed the External Coverage Treatment for Transferred Incoming Trunk Calls to Y but it makes no differece in the change system-parameters coverage-forwarding

Has anyone any ideas
