What happens is: when call comes in on 2292, and person transfers call to 2068, and no one answers 2068, call bounces to 2119.

What we want to have happen: when call comes in on 2292, and person transfers call to 2068, and no one answers 2068, call should then go to 2068's voicemail (dn 7000)

Want to leave hunt and fdn to 2119 on dn2292. Have tried cls SFA on 2292 and/or 2068 (transfered calls still went to 2119 if no one answered 2068).

VM is CallPilot.

Thanks Much! (Please see following TN's)

Dear ,

Please change the following for ext 2068 :

CLS FNA CFTA HTA SFA
EFD 7000 (deviation in case of no answerfor external calls)
EHT 7000 (deviation in case of busy with an external call)

Once you've changed this ; calls will go to VM if ext 2068
doesn't answer or is busy

I know it say's MARP on the DN's, But if it's not turned on in the CDB it will follow the FNA of 2292.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Vancauter I think is partially correct. Ext 2068 already has CLS FNA HTA, and I don't think you actually need CFTA (call forward by type allowed), you just need SFA allowed on the set to which the call was forwarded.

Without SFA on 2068, the call is still attached to 2292 since it does not get answered at 2068, and therefor follows the HUNT/FDN of 2292 if the call is a blind-transfer.

CFTA as I understood it only enables you to direct the call differently based on whether it is an internal or external call.

I think the PBX retains the originally called number, call pilot sees the originaly dialled digits not the forwarded number....if there is a feature it would have to modify the originally dialled number....

why add call forward by call type? then forward both to the same target? the trnasfered to set need sfa (secondary forwarding allow) nothing more... both sets have mail and all the forwards in place..

cfta is never a good idea unless you need a unique call treatment for internal and external...

and on the original post... nothing bounces, nothing rolls.. this is a nortel.. calls either fna or hunt.. depending cls marks
