hi all,

I have an Avaya IP office with analog sets,

caller 1 calls in from outside to extension 1234 (analog 6211), call is answered at 1234.
the caller 1 requests to speak to extn 1333. whenever I hit the flash to try a transfer it hangs up the call and caller 1 is lost.

how do I get to transfer the call from this analog set?

thanks

recall (Flash) is the correct way to put calls on hold
it sounds like your handsets is sending a longer flash than the IPO is expecting

either change the model of handsets or look at the analogue control settings in the extn.
