I wish to come back to an old problem about which i have seen several threads before but as I don't know the latest position, I am putting this question.

I need to transfer report to Excel or Word but I am losing the lines drawn for columns/rows and only the bare text is seen.

Has any solution has been found for this problem?

Appreciate any info or reference to previous thread about this matter.

I just posted this same question the other day. I export my reports to RTF (Rich Text Format) and only the text appears...all graphics are lost. Nobody responded, but I'm starting to feel that they really mean "TEXT" in RTF. PDF is another option, but then you can't edit.

Have you considered a Snapshot file? This will look exactly like the report in Access.

Any one can view this with a free download from Microsoft. Think of it as Microsoft Access's version of a PDF file

Neil...

Can't answer for Desikan, but I tried snapshot. Didn't like it because my users would have to install the snapshot viewer and our LAN folks have blocked individual desktop installations. Plus, you can't edit or manipulate a snaphot.

Thanks for the suggestion!

How can one make a pdf from an Access report? I would be most appreciative.
