I am under the impression that to set up an extension to transfer to vm (in a SX200 with AVT) on busy/ring no answer it had to be done at the phone. Something like #4 to transfer and then another code for busy/no answer and then the speed dial or lead number for voicemail. But I am unable to find in Feature Access Codes the commands for any of this. Any suggestions where to look for this information? Thanks.

is this the 200 analog or the 200 el
if it is the el you can do voicemail busy and no answer
in you tenant rerouting table or per ext from the console
or super key on ss .

if you are on the 200 analog you need to figuir out
what the feature access code for b/na is and make sure its
allowed in ext's cos service setting's

There are four ways to forward to vm. Make sure that call forwarding is enabled in the Class of Service you assign to the extension.

One way is to use Tenanting. You assign the tenant number to the extension in form 9. Then in form 19, you can set the forwarding for all members of the tenant group. This is refered to as system call forwarding.

The second way is to use the Feature Access Codes assigned in form 2. These FACs are typically used for Analog extensions. You need to dail condition codes after some of the FACs. Use your Folio Views info for that. This way would be considered personal call forwarding.

The third way is to use the attendant console to set up forwarding for an extension. This way requires that the Class of Service for the console has the option enabled to allow it to set up forwarding of other sets. ( I can't remember the COS option right now)

The fourth way is if you have a digital set. Digital sets will have a blue SuperKey. You can set up forwarding with this button. This is also refered to as personal call forwarding.

The main difference between system call forwarding and personal call forwarding is that personal forwarding done at the set take priority over the system call forwarding. That means that if you set up your system call forwarding with tenanting and form 19 for extensions to forward to VM and then at the set level forward to a different location (perhaps an external number or the recptionist), then calls will not forward to VM. I find this useful in setting the extensions with default forwarding to VM with allowing each user to temporarily forward calls as needed.

Good Luck

Thanks, CWC3. It must be a 200 analog because it doesn't even have a tenant rerouting table form - just a Tenant Interconnection Table....and the call reroute form is nothing like the call reroute form in a SX2000.

Ignore some of what I said, as I assumed 200EL/ML.

Some good information there, Paterson. Thanks. I will give them a try.

I totally spaced the fact that it could be a sx 200 digital
if its the size of a beer keg cooler and has floppy drives and you have a terminal hooked up to it its a 200D

Actually, the PBX in located in California and I am in Florida (can I be any further away?) so I am kind working this remotely blindfolded...
