Hello,
I have 2 MIC's systems - one v4.1, the other v6.1 - both about 40 miles away from each other.
I have an external autodial button on phones on the v4.1 side - the autodial button calls a specific line on the v6.1 unit.
When someone calls the v4.1 MICS and asks for a particular dept., they are then transfered to the autodial button.
This is done by pressing "transfer", and then pressing the external autodial button.
The transfer behaves just like an internal transfer.
There are problems though - v4.1 listener can barely hear v6.1 speaker, also there is a hum on the v6.1 side.
The hum is not heard on the v4.1 side.
I am using:
LossPkg = Medium CO (v4.1 MICS)
LossPkg = Long CO (v6.1 MICS) - tried Medium CO first, but was too quiet)
Both MICS have LS/DS trunk cards (non CID).
v6.1 uses supervised POTS lines, and the v4.1 uses unsupervised POTS lines.
Any ideas what may cause this?
