Transfer to Call Group 1

I have a customer that has a Partner ACS R 6 with Partner Messaging. The system is answered by the auto attendant during the day with Selector Code transfer to a Call Group. They would like to have it that if no one in the Call Group answers, rather than have it go to voicemail coverage, could it then ring other phones such as a pickup/hunt group or another way to have a secondary group coverage for backup.
 
Kinda, sorta, but not seamlessly.

I see from your posting history that you know how to have a calling group cover to a mailbox. Change the mailbox to point to a different auto attendant, record the greeting as "Please hold, your call is being transferred", and make the dial-0/timeout transfer to a different calling group.

So, call is in AA-1, caller presses a selector code, call transfers to calling group 71. Call is not answered, returns to voicemail, mailbox 71 points to AA-2, caler hears "Please hold", caller is transferred to calling group 72.
