Guys
Do you know if you can transfer a call to another external number programmed in the speed dial list.

I know you can do it if they are programmed on to buttons

Incoming call is answered by staff and the want to transfer the call to a Mobile (cell)phone.eg using speed dial 001 to 010
The Mobile numbers are stored in the speed dial list so they want to transfer using these short code numbers.

Anybody done this
Thanks

No you can't transfer to a system speed dial. The best thing you could do is to create destination codes including your speed dial(one dest.code for each speed dial)

Thanks gberger

I found this after alot of searching

In Global setting-Feature settings-Force speed dial over ic/conf.
This was unticked on default.

This feature allows you to determine if Auto and Speed
dial codes can be transmitted during an active call. This
feature works during either a one-to-one call, or during a
conference call.
If set to N: When the user presses a key for a speed dial,
the current call will automatically be put on Hold, and the
second call will be dialed.
If set to Y: When the user presses an auto dial or speed
dial key, the system dials out the number while still maintaining the call.

I tried do this with a conference call and it seems to work for the customer.

They receive the call, put it on hold, use speed dial to call the other number, feature 3 (Conf). then release.

the incoming call is then transfered using the speed dial code.

It works for me!!!!that will have to do.
