Has anyone had this issue before? We have a 5.0 processor w/ 6 port mail, 400e card and 2- 206e cards. What happens is they have 2 extensions that can press transfer 777 and send the caller to check there messages. The rest of the extensions can not. I have looked at those 2 extensions next to the rest and they are all programmed the same. Anyone know what I can check for or explain why this does not work? Also I am not sure what release the mail is. It is out of state. Any help would be great. Thank you.

What does the caller hear when you hit transfer 777 and hang up the phone?

Make sure hunt group 777 is on those buttons.

1043,
They hear music. It puts them on hold. Even if they press transfer 777 then transfer again. 1864 it is not a programmed button. I would intsruct them to use feature 14 but then the caller has to use *7 and they don't want to do that. They are lazy I guess. Thank you for responding. Let me know what you both or anyone else comes up with.
Thanks

Make sure only the 6 voicemail extensions are in group 7.

As a test only you can transfer to the extension numbers in group 7 and see if any paricular extension is causing the problem.

List your equipment in the order they are in the carrier.

Log into voicemail admin and hit 7 instead of 9 and it will tell you the release of the voicemail

I figured it out. Thank you for trying. I ended up doing a #728 and all was restored.
