Using Access 2000, I am trying to update a field of an existing table with the results of a query. The results of the query include a primary key field, the current values in the table, and the desired values for the table. The update query does not seem to fit since the desired values are not unique. The append query may be appropriate but I am not sure. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

provide your table structure and the sql for the query.

tblName
field1name (primary key, datattype)
field2Name (data type)
....

I suggest you answer MajP's questions but probably do so in a new thread in a more appropriate forum. I don't see anything in your question that relates to Access Reports.
