OK brainiacs please help me out on this one. I have a customer that wants to be able to transfer a call to ext. 34. If the person at ext. 34 does not pick up, they want the call to transfer back to the original transfer-er. So I set up the transfer return rings to six, everyone else's VM cover rings to 3, and ext. 34's vm cover rings to 9. But the call never transfers back. The voicemail picks it up after the nine rings. According to the book, they can't have both VM and transfer return, but they swear up and down that that's the way it was with their old system. They want the option to retrieve the call, ask the caller if they would like to speak to someone else or be put into ext. 34's voicemail. They had a Partner ACS R4 with VS mail and they now have a Partner ACS R8 with Partner Messaging 6 port R7. What am I missing?
