Some of you OPG might know this term from Pbx's Transfer recall
it is a timer set to return a transfered call to a phone after a certain amt of time is there such a thing in the Cisco world also Is ther a place to set Blind transfer as opposed to supervised transfer>>>>> thanks in advance....

There is no transfer recall unless you do a supervised transfer and monitor the transfer. Otherwise it follows the forwarding rules of the phone you transfer to.
A blind transfer is achieved by pressing the transfer softkey after the DN is entered.

So:
trasfer->DN is a supervised trasnfer
transfer->dn->transfer is a blind transfer

Up to the end user or company policy which one to use.

Are you saying that Transfer/Recall is not even supported on an Attendant Console?

which attendant console version? The ARC version or the version that cisco OEM's from ARC? On Cisco's version no, supervised transfer is the only option but with you having presence the attendant should be able to see if the end user is available before she sends the call through.
With the ARC version you might be able to do recall but I am not sure. I'd have to play with it.

Thanks! We're still in the contemplation stages of adding attendant consoles (plural) - presently the main # goes to an external 3rd party answering svc. (may stay that way if I have any sayso). One less headache.
