TDA-50 version 3 with TVA-50. Trying to have transferred CO calls CFNA to voicemail, without the annoying blinking FWD light on each phone. Tried doing it by setting extension intercept to 500, but this seemed to only work with incoming CO calls, not transferred calls. So I set the transfer recall destination to 500, set intercept no answer timer to 20s, CFNA to 18s, and transfer recall to 18s. No dice, calls just return to the extension that transferred them. Made sure each extension had the appropriate mailbox number in the "Programmed Mailbox No." column. Still no luck. What am I missing?

Don't think a transferred call will follow to voicemail on intercept, you could setup a vtr button or in system settings you can set dnd to solid lamp

one thing i just spotted is the recall timer is shorter than intercept, have you tried making it longer

I did try the timers the other way around with intercept at 20 and recall at 30 with CFB/NA Off. After 30 seconds the call just returns to the extension which transferred it.

I read another thread where several people said they had this problem with version 3. Can anyone verify that this is a flaw in this particular version?

Intercept to voicemail was always defined. It only followed intercepts or transfers if it is known the call is to go to voicemail like a direct dial in
Or vtr from another phone and a transfer was not. known, should it go to the mailbox of the caller or the mailbox of where the call originated from

So in other words CFNA or CFNA/B with the darn blinky light is my best bet?

you could try updating the software but you will need to re register the system key through a dealer
