Can you transfer to any extension from the mailbox while leaving a message?

You have 3 breakouts on every User's voicemail - 0, 2, and 3

Create a new automated attendant, check the box for Direct Dial-By-Number, set the Key Actions for the leading digit of extension numbers to Dial by Number.

Create a short code to reach the auto attendant

Put that shortcode in one of the Breakouts

Reach the mailbox, press 2 (breakout), AA answers, AA greeting says "dial your party's extension number now"

I thought needing to dial 0/2/3 or *0/*2/*3 for DTMF breakout was dependent on running IP office mode or intuity mode for voicemail?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

They changed that a while ago as TTT stated. You can just dial the digit now in embedded either way.
