Folks,

i have a call pilot 150 connected to a MICS 7.0. when you get someones vm, you are unable to get out to another ext. is there any way to set up so after leaving a messege, you can enter in another ext. # to be transferred to them?

thanks in advance

Yes you should be able to send the caller to where ever you want to. I think it is call personal assistant.

the target attendant is set up for all the ext.'s. this came up in one of my training classes. "If i'm driving down the road and get teds voicemail, i would like to be able to just enter in someone elses ext. # to be rerouted to the other extension". i've tried everything from * to # and have failed miserably. please advise. TKS

make sure return to AA is set to yes under
f 983 log in
AA
grt
AA
return to AA yes
then you will be able to hit *to return to the AA and enter a different ext
hope this helps

Yes there is 1 Target Attendant for the whole system by default. But you can go into each mailbox and change 0 for that box to go to different extension. You can change the Target Attendant per mailbox if you would like. If you do not assign one within the box then it automaticlly goes to the Default Attendant.

I am reading this to be that after you end up in a particular voicemail that you would like to change to another? if you were transfered in via auto attendent or a live attendent then dial * to take you back to the AA level. then dial the extension for an extension transfer or dial star mailboxno to go directly into a mailbox.

i've been trying it from a DID. You call a DID and get that persons mailbox, they want to be able to enter in a different ext. and be transferred to that. i know on the bcm you can press # to record then # to stop record, then 79 to deliver, then enter the ext. and you'll be transferred. not the same on the call pilot 150.

* should return you to the AA, or home menu of the ccr, and you should be able to dial another ext. (provided return to AA=Y)

Thanks jimmer that worked perfectly...i didnt know that would happen even if you called a DID. thanks again
