Transfer off prem on Partner Mail VS r7

Can I transfer off premises by pressing a selector code? Or can it only be to a centrex line? I am assuming that the Partner accesses the ICM path, does a hookswitch flash, and dials the 4 digit extension number.

You can have it forward by using a selector code.

You would have to have the selector code point to an extension that has been forwarded to an outside number.
