Hi,
We are decommishing a Nortel Option 11C with Symposium. I have another division in our company interested in getting our Symposium licenses transferred, as well as some ACD licenses transferred from the PBX. Is this possible? What are the basic steps? Thanks.

There used to be a program out there when Nortel was running things, that allowed you (at a cost) to "bundle" your switches etc together, so that if you had a need to move licenses between them you could, of course there was a set up fee to move the licenses too, even after the program fees. We looked in to it at one time, but it turned out the costs were almost the same as buying new licenses, and getting new licenses was a whole lot less hassle. Not sure if Avaya still have this option and if it is any better now.

If you really have Symposium I think you are out of luck anyway. Symposium is EOL for a very long time now.

Also I think that they do not do anything for release 5.5 and lower. Not sure about that since I'm getting Life Cycle documents almost every day which all tell you something else...
