Hello all, I have a scenario I've never come across before & hopefully can get some help here! I have 2 3300's (9.0), a number of consoles exist on system 1, calls comes into consoles & are answered then transfered over DPNSS to an extn on system 2, extn answers call & then needs to transfer call to colleague, however this is where my problem is, pressing the trans/conf button does absolutely nothing so the user can't transfer the call! Any ideas?
Calls transfered from consoles to extns on system 1 do not have this issue & extns on system 2 can transfer calls perfectly when a call comes directly into them.

Thanks for all help.

Are we sure the attendant has released the call? If the att. remains bridged (monitoring the call) then tranf/conf won't work and the symptoms will be exactly what you describe.

Is there a third system connected to the Mitel or do you have 2 Mitels connected via DPNSS.

Post a ccs trace of the call.

Thanks for replying, done a bit more testing & the issue happens not only when calls hit switchboard then transfered but also when they hit extns (on sys1) then transfered, however, I've also just been informed that calls do not hit sys1 directly, the circuit is actually connected to another system (a Meridian) then routed over to the the 3300, could this be where the issue is?
I'll try to get a ccs trace but am not in the office again till Monday.

That's what i thought, a third system. It is possible that the Meridian causes the problem.

Maybe a CCS trace will tell us more.
