Hi,

Is it possible to transfer data directly from a 2 dimensional array into an Access table, and back again? I've been opening the table as a recordset and adding each row in the array individually, but this takes forever as I have to update the recordset after each record is added...

Thanks in advance for any help available!

Take a look here thread705-1425555. It is happening now!
Very intuitive for everyone

murad5,
You might be able to use [tt]GetRows()[/tt] (DAO/ADO) to populate your array.

Not aware of a quick way to get data from the array back into the recordset.

Hope this helps,
CMP

Thanks for your help guys - GetRows is very helpful.

I'll keep an eye on the other thread to see if anything pops up (need to work on my searching!)
