How would I go about transferring my contact list from one computer to another? I welcome any suggestions.

Depending on the version of Outlook, here would be one way:

File -> New -> Outlook Data file

Select .PST

Type a descriptive name

Make sure View -> Folder list is turned on -- you'll now see another entry (probably called Personal Folders). The only thing inside here will be Deleted Items.

Right-click your main Contacts folder, and hit Copy. It will ask you "where"? Put it in the newly created Personal Folders section.

Right-click on the new Personal Folders item, and click Close.

Now go find the new .PST file on your hard drive and it will contain just a copy of your Contacts. Copy this file to the new PC, open it (File -> Open) and drag the contents over to the main Contacts folder on the new PC.

Go to - File - Import/Export - Export (Choose pst, excel, csv ..etc)- Select the folder contacts..
