Our staff members use the following instructions to transfer a call to a co-worker's modular messaging account:
[ul]
[li]Press the Transfer button on your phone.[/li]
[li]Enter 5959.[/li]
[li]Press *##.[/li]
[li]Enter the other person's extension number.[/li]
[li]Press the Transfer button.[/li]
[/ul]

Does anyone know if it's possible to program this on a telephone's abbreviated dial button?
My first, rudimentary attempt didn't work with the following code:

10: autodial Number: 5959~w*##~w5813

Thank you.

Use a Caller Application within MM for that purpose. Once built, the person that has the call can just hit transfer, then the lead number for the caller app, then put in the destination mailbox number and then complete the transfer (either by hanging up or hitting transfer again, depending on your PBX setup).
