Transfer call to boss' cell 1

I have a request for our exec admin group to be able to transfer calls to the mgmt team, the scenario is as follows:

Dave calls into Linda's phone asking for Susie in Kansas, Dave would hang up waiting for Susie to be transferred to his cell phone.

Linda would call Susie in Kansas and transfer Susie to Dave's cell phone. Linda would then hang up and the call would be between Susie and Dave.

Problem: Linda cannot complete the transaction. Linda can hit the transfer button and dial Dave's cell phone #, however, can not connect the two party's together. Linda has a 3904 set.

If Susie calls Linda directly and then has Linda transfer her to Dave's cell phone, it works.

what do I need to look for?

Is there a reason why, when Dave calls Linda, Linda doesn't just conference in Susie then hang up?

It seems that it would be easier.

Kind of a toll fraud possibility there, but you might want to check Linda's CLS and see if CFXA (Call Forward External Allowed) is there.

It is indeed tricky to use.

This one also: (trunk to trunk transfer)

This will enable you to connect outside lines together (and the Meridian onwner will pay the costs)

It doesn't sound like the trunk to trunk transfer can be restricted to one phone set.

This sounds like it will allow them to do what they want, however, I'm not sure they will want to if fraud is an issue.

Apparently the switchboard has the power to do this function. I tested it this afternoon and it worked fine.
