Transfer call in house but links to incoming call

Can any one help with this it is a definity system being used in a hotel, When reception is on the line with a guest and we want to transfer the call to someone in house but we have another call coming through, the 2 calls are linked together when we press the “transfer” button!!

Does any one have any answer to y this is happening as I still have the fault were the 2 guest calls being connected to each other?
