We have a Norstar KSU/PRI MICS 5. Handsets are M7310

How do I move an old identity (extension number, key functions, DID, etc) to a different set? I can't locate the user's original set, or it has gained a new identity. His old situation was Line 247, and an extension of 447. DID is xxx-xxx-6447. The phone I have plugged into is extension 295. How do I make that phone take on the old identity. I can see his name and old extension in the coordinator login.

Is there a good general resource on the web concerning how this system works in general? I have a hard time understanding how Ports map to Lines map to DIDs map to DNs etc...

Copy from old extension to new extension. Then renumber new extension to the old extension and rename it.

If you're looking to handle maintenence on your system for the long term, you might consider calling a local vendor in to give you some training. I think you'll find we're worth the money.
