Running a maintenanceplan for all databases including backup of transactionlogs only results in a backup of tansactionlog for some of the databases. Not all ??

Which version of SQL Server are you running?
SQL 2000: If the RECOVERY MODE of the database is simple, there are no transaction logs to backup.
SQL 7: If the Trunc. Log on Chkpt. option is On for the database, there are no transaction logs to backup. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
