transactional replication issue

I am having an issue setting up transactional replication on sql 2005 sp2.....

I have the distributor and publisher set up. The snapshot has run without any issues.

When I try to create the subscriber I click the last button and get an error SQL Server could not create a subscription for subscriber'ssssss'. (New Subscription Wizard)

Additional information occurred while executing a transact sql statement or batch.

The current transaction cannot be committed and cannot support operations that write to the log file. roll back the transaction. The current transaction cannot be committed and cannot be rolled back to a savepoint. Roll back the entire transaction. Changed database context to 'XXXX' (Microsoft SQL Server, Error:3930)
