I have several tables that have transactions. These need to be charged to the appropriate account.
Examples:
CreditCardStatement(CCTransactionNo, Date, Amount)
Adjustment(AdjNo, Date, Memo, Amt, Qty, DateEntered, ChargeCodeNo, AcctNo, VehicleNo)
ORental(InvoiceNo, Date, RentalCharge, Overhead, FuelCharge, VendorNo, RequestNo, CCVehNo)
FuelTransaction(FuelTransactionNo, Date, Time,Gallons, UnitAmt, ChargeCodeNo, VehicleNumber)
IRental(TripTicketNo, Date, BeginMileage, EndMileage, Memo, VehicleNo, RequestNo)
Charge_Rental(ChargeCodeNo, TripTicketNo, Description, Qty, UnitAmt)
WorkOrder(WONo, Date, Status, Mileage, Memo, VehicleNo)
WOInventoryPartDetail(WONo, LineNo, PartNo, Qty, ChargeCodeNo, UnitAmt)
WOFluidDetail(WONo, LineNo, Description, ChargeCodeNo, Qty, UnitAmt)
WONoninventoryPartDetail(WONo, LineNo, Description, VendorNo, ChargeCodeNumber, Qty,
UnitAmt)
WOContractualLaborDetail(WONo, LineNo, Description, ChargeCodeNo, Qty, UnitAmt)

It has been suggested that I also create an AccountTransaction table (TransactionNo, Date, Description, AcctTransaction, RevenueAcct, AdjNo, CCTransactionNo, FuelTransactionNo, InvoiceNo, TripTicketNo, WONo). Or something like this? I was using subreports for my invoice, but I also need to give Accounting a report that includes AcctNo, AcctName, and grand total.

Does this seem reasonable? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks
