Transaction Box Questions

Hi everyone. Frustrated Noob here, who is trying to figure out our NEC system.

I have a few questions about transaction boxes:

1) What is the difference between a transaction box and a voice mailbox?
2) If I want to change the message of a transaction box, how is that done from the transaction box owner's phone?

1) T boxes are generally used for a "function" such as announcements or redirecting calls. It depends on what you're trying to do. Voice mailboxes are pretty much what the name implies.

2) The easiest way to change the greeting of a T box is to log into the mailbox that "owns" the T box and then go through the menu options to make a message for the T box number. The system will recognize the relationship and put you into the menu options to change the greeting.
