Greetings everyone,

I am working with a Mitel 3300 virtual/Physical 3300 icp system with SIP trunks and 3320 & 3330 IP phones.
The issue I am having is with using the Trans/Conf button. Here is the scenario:

The first call is placed to cell phone #1 using one of the line appearances. The caller ID on cell phone #1 shows up as expected.
Press the Trans/Conf button (under the X button) and dial cell phone #2, the caller ID on that cell phone shows Restricted.

I have dug through the COS for the phone sets and the SIP trunk but I cannot find anything that seems to control this.

Does anyone have a clue how to correct this?

Thanks,

Carl

I would check COS "Display Held Call ID on Transfer" first to see if it is set to yes.
Check on trunks and stations.

I agree that caused us grief recently

- we took it off all user cos

- the effect when using sip trunks is that it uses the number of the held party when making the external call

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

That did the trick!

Thank you, two, very much!

Happy Holidays!

Carl
