Hi Guys,
I have the following data

skill set score exam id employee id
Analytical 30 1 A
logical 50 1 A
-------------------------------------
Analytical 30 2 B
Logical 40 2 B
-------------------------------------
Analytical 40 3 A
Logical 20 3 A

I have 2 measures 1) Total exams(Cube result should be 3 for each skill set ) 2) Total unique Employees(cube result will be 2 from above example for each skill set) how do i do this.
One employee can take multiple exams.

Thanks in advance

Look to use the category count function of transformer as the source for your measures (you'll need to include a standard metric like exam count - value = '1' for each line in the data - as well to generate the cube) or set up a count(distinct(field)) in the iqd.

Thanks drlex,
I have already done Category count then i am getting these values in cube view
when i use total assess measure

Skill set
Analytical 1 ---Here actual value should be 3 b'se analytical was taken 3 times---
Logical 2 ---Here Actual value should be 3---
Total 3 ---Total is right----

X I did count(distinct(field)) and used as measure but it gave value multiplied by 3 times.

Your results seem at odds with the data in your first post.
If you have a unique exam id, then surely a category count will produce an exam count, like employee id and employee count. At the risk of complicating this, what are your levels in the dimension(s) concerned?
