Does anyone have any recomendations (or anti recomendations if you have had a bad experience) for training vendors for various Cisco solutions in general?

Hopefully I will be forgiven for posting here but my hope was that seasoned Cisco people would look at post, not people who are trying to get certified. I am more concerned about learning, not the certification, so I am somwhat sceptical of the bootcamp format just because I see what gets churned out of MCSE Boot Camps.

Thoughts Anyone?

You'll find it difficult to beat Global Knowledge.

In my opinion, they are right up there in terms of quality of training, knowledge of instructors etc.

They tend to charge a little more too but then you get what you pay for.

I did my CCIE Prep with them.. highly recommended.

Well dont totally put the down the bootcamps. They are good at confirming what you know. The best part is being able to talke to other tech people. As far as Cisco training though if you dont have your own equipment then I would enroll in a class. I took my CCNA with New Horizons. I had already read about 4 CCNA books and the class pretty much just confirmed that I was ready. It was nice though just to clear up any questions I had. Now I dont feel like I need the classes anymore but who know I may go back along my trek for CCSP.

If you are in the UK, Comstor are pretty good. They have all the kit onsite as their warehouse is below the training centre, so no remote labs.

I'd also agree on Global Knowledge. They seem to have more instructors with real world experience. I did a CCSP with them and my instructor was inspirational.
