training Recommendations

Hi Guys

I've been using Impromptu and Powerplay windows version for the last 6 or 7 years upto version 6 IMR and 6.6 PPR.
I am quite comfortable with powerplay modelling/Reporting and Impromptu Administration catalogs/Reports.

I have just landed a new role with a company who are using V7 Powerplay and Impromptu web with upfront. i have been looking at a number of Cognos training courses and have found individual courses for Impromptu Server Admin, Impromptu Web Admin, Powerplay Web Admin and Upfront Admin, there is also a Fast Track Cognos Web course.

Has anyone been on any of these courses ?
Is the fast track course suitable for my needs ?
Does anyone have any other recommendations of courses I should be looking at ?

Luckily my new company are quite liberal when it comes to training

Gary,
1st off, you're ideally situated for these courses, as Cognos have a training centre in Manchester, so travel is reduced to whatever gridlock occurs in Manc early mornings!
2nd off - I've attended both the PP/IMP administrators fastrack and the upfront admin fastrack with 6m experience and found them to be extremely useful, with some good manuals to take away. If your company is prepared to pay, then I would certainly book.
thirdly, given your experience, the upgrade workshop would also be useful for you - you could probably still make the one on the 8th Dec at Manc.
Note that once you're on the training list at Cognos, you'll get plenty of bumf about the courses and schedules.
