Training on Ucx - IP Phone to use.

Hey , i'm about to go on training for the Ucx ,, do i need a new Infinity IP Set or will a Nortel IP 1140E be good enough ?? Thanks guys.

Don't know what course you're talking about where you need to bring a phone. Basic UCX courses are done online but if you need a phone, either one will do. The biggest difference is the Infinity sets can be switched from SIP to Xstim and the Infinity has a GUI. Personally, I really like the new sets.

Yes i will be a reseller ,, i had intended on learning the system over 1 yr. ago,,, and did talk to u and others on this forum ,, but being a 1 man wrecking crew and getting older i lost my motivation sort a speak ,, problem is i got into too many systems and wireless ,Ip Cameras , cabling .repair ,u get the picture ,New IP still makes me nervous and networks,, yet i set Voip.ms and phone in my office ,,i may need your help ,i don't have a clue on how to do a quote that won't scare off my customers. I'm not entirely sure you need the ip phone for the course. The course is free but I do see in their invite that they do want us to buy an Infinity set. In any case, I will bring a few with me if someone needs one.
