Hi everyone. I am in need of your advice and expertise.
I am a database person, but have been developing Crystal reports and administering Seagate Info and most recently Crystal Enterprise 9 for approximately 3 years. We are using ePortfolio right out of the box, and it's served our purposes well - until now.
I attended a web seminar some time ago on Crystal Enterprise that displayed a website with charts displayed, offering drill down capabilities, etc. I was impressed, and there is now a need for this type of functionality within our organization.
My question is - what kind of training would I need to explore to be able to do something like that? I have minimal VB and web development experience.
Worthy to note that while doing this within Crystal Enterprise is an option, we are preparing to utilize the new SharePoint Portal Server 2003 for our intranet. If possible, we'd like to be able to display charts with drill down on SPS2003 technology. Any suggestions? Ideas? Experience?
I haven't been able to find anything about SPS2003 on Crystal's site and have contacted them for additional information, but I have a feeling that you all probably have some great advice for me.
Thanks!
