Training Group vs Consulting Group

I have recently been asked to give business reasons why my training group should be separate from our consulting group.

I have a couple personal opinions and reasons, but am wondering if anyone else has anything they could share.

Training teaches people how to do their job, consultancy does their job for them so it is a different type of market and therefore a different marketing approach should be used. (But say it a little nicer).
