I have a ODBC connection o an Oracle database with where a field in a table is defined as TEXT. The format used in the field is "blank" spaces followed by number e.g.

" 10987". I want to take these data and export them to an Access table, but in the export process to wash the blank spaces so the result in a new filed is presented as "10987". As a text or number format.

Just import them, then run an update query against the table and use:

Trim([name of field]) as the updateto portion for the field..... Please remember to give helpful posts the stars they deserve!
This makes the post more visible to others in need! [thumbsup2]
