Is it possible to do traffic shaping with a PIX 506e right out of the box? We want to allocate X bandwidth to FTP/HTTP, etc so that we can see where everything is going and not hogging up the network.

The PIX is not able to do traffic shaping. You need to accomplish this task on another device.
