Hi Guys

Having only used Traffic Reports once or twice i have forgotten how to print them to port 1754 (lpr1)

I've set lrp1 as it's port in app log ports, then run the traffic print command, it then comes up saying "Queued for Printing", can't for the life of me remember which command you use to print queued reports!!

Any help graetly appreciated!

make it LPR3 and command from maintenance ENA P/N capture output

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Thanks but never seen that command before, this is a 3300?

Is that in the maint commands form or from the shell?

did this the other day.

use telnet "IP of controller" 1754

once you run the traffic report print command you will see the output on the 1754 port.
I would imagine that you'd want to copy this so use hyperterminal or putty to save the output

Hi Mitelpassion

Yeah that's what i'm doing but when i run traf print it then come up Queued for Printing

I'm sure i've had to run another command to start it?

Also, did you just put lrp1 against traffic reports in the Application Logical Port form?

I didn't run another command, only ran the traffic print command, saw it saying queued and it just spat it out on my putty screen ;)
traffic is set to lpr1

If you use this command for your telnet it will capture your form print in a text file:

telnet -f c:\formprint.txt "IP of controller" 1754

Drop the " "

mitel100,

I think the issue is that the output does not occur so specifying the text file shouldn't make a difference.

if it does I'd be surprised

If it is not printing, then maybe something is stuck in your print queue.

So a 'Show print all' and cancel any jobs that are pending.
