Is there a way on the Aria 250 to pull historic traffic reports on the ports? I am upgrading to CP next year and want to be sure that I actually need all the ports or if I can downsize a bit. Also, may be going to a centralized VM and don't want to pay for any more T1s than I have to.

The Octel will only hold the reports for the last 7 days. You can make sure that you run the report every Monday for the last 7 days and it will show you the historic traffic but it is a pain.

The only real way to do this is with Decision Pro but it is not available any more. CA has a reporting package but it is not cheap.

Only other way to do this would be to hire someone that has the DP to run the reports for the system over a month or 2 to see what you are really using.

You also may be able to pull the report from the PBX if it will give you this info from the hunt group depending on the type of integration you are using.

Thanks Ken...I do hve DPro, but the powers won't let me install it. Unfortunately, paying to have it done isnot an option either (Banks, go figure). what menu would I want to use for the weekly reports? I'll pot the quesation in the Nortel forum too. Option 81C and 2616ACD integration.

Someone somewhere thinks that I might be able to get confidential info. Go figure.
