Is it possible to download and read the TM data on the HDU. I have to remotely collect traffic recording records and enter them into spreadsheets and it is very time consuming. We don't have access to DNA so cant use PDM or PPM. Also does anyone know of any freeware that can be used with TM records.

Thanks

Jaakie

I think you should just be able to do a
TRREP:MENO="x"

Lancbomb,

I am aware of the TRREP command but this is very slow, which is why I was looking for a faster method. Thanks anyway.

Hi Jaakie,

You can and should... use the FI commands or if you have it MD Disk Tool.

The files are stored in SYSN\USR1\ACS\TM\Dnyddd

The TR data xxx dump files stored in the system storage device are named by dump number and date with the following format:

D = Character denoting traffic recording data dump
n = Data dump number (ranges from 0 to 2)
y = Last digit of the year the data dump is stored
ddd = Day of the year the data dump is stored

For example D18194 is the name of a TR data dump file stored July 13, 1998. This data dump is the second data dump in that day.

Print the files using...
FIDAP:pATH=SYSN\USR1\ACS\TM\,OPT=ALL;

I think you can copy the files using...
FICPI:

Isinor,

Many thanks, this is just what I needed. Do you know is it possible to download the files in anything other than Hex?

Jaakie

Hi Jaakie,

Not sure about the hex...

If you are using WinFiol and have a bit of time to spend you could create a script to log the results prints and then run the script automatically via scheduler.

Then if you are a bit of a script guru you could use a macro in Excel to automate the import, etc.
