thread68-1245172 Hello, I am new to this forum and am here for help. I need to create a traffic light in word so that the users are able to click how their progress is doing. Green would be on track, yellow some minor problems and red bad. Please help as my boss insists on this to be in word. I know it is possible in Excel but he wants it in word (no copying from Excel).

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

That would be akin to your boss telling a carpenter to fasten some wood with screws using a butter knife rather than a screwdriver.

Word and Excel are TOOLS, each having their particular use; some features overlapping but many more feature unique to each application.

So you or your boss should choose the application appropriate to the requirement.

I guess it wouldn't be that hard to assign some code to a few shapes.
