I'm brand new here...and trying to decide whether or not to purchase Corel Paint Shop Pro. I've been getting into some sports photography, and I'm looking for a template to use for soccer trader/trading cards. I know I can get them for Photoshop and Express Digital, but PSP is soooo much cheaper. If there is a source for memory mate and trader card templates, I will go ahead with the PSP purchase.

You can open Photoshop format files in PSP, so you should be able to use those templates. Why not download the free trial version of the software from Corel and find out?

Thanks Chris...I have the trial version which came with my new Dell. I just haven't purchased the template yet. I wonder why all the authors of the templates state either 'Photoshop' or 'Express Digital' compatible...but nothing about 'PSP' compatible?

Well, I would say they list them as Photoshop compatible because thats what they test them with. The probably haven't tested them with PSP - and we are relying on PSP's ability to read those kinds of files. If it doesn't work, it's not really the fault, or the responsibility, of the template developer.
