I have a tractor feed label (continuous roll) that is 3/8 high by 2" wide and 3 across (So 6" wide + tractor tear offs).
I started by modifying a typical label but that does work well. I am having trouble with having no margins between labels either vertically or horizontally. After trial and error I can get 1 page to print OK but once I hit the page feed it is then off of vertical alignment. The horizontal alignment is off somewhat due to no margins there either - but is 'acceptable'. Given the small size of these labels there is really no room for error - off by a little and you are soon off the label.
I think this needs to be built from the ground up. Can someone walks me through all the steps of building a custom label like this. (E.g. Label design, Page Setup settings, etc. I want to learn how to do this correctly. I have search the web and found no good examples/tutorials on this topic. Many thanks in advance
I know this can be done as I have seen a commercial app that does exactly this label in a proprietary Access printing app (no real database component) - but it has no interface capabilities with other applications and my data resides in my application. It makes no sense for user to exit my app and re-enter label data in a proprietary app.
