Is there anyway to track Table Field Names changes to ensure you can update all of your Code to the New Field Name, Queries, Reports, Forms, etc.??

I am fairly new to Access. I have created a Form off of a table that I have. In hindsight I see now where I made many mistakes in naming the Fields in my table. I would like to change some of these names to a better naming convention but am concerned that I will miss changing the code, queries, etc.

Thanks in advance

In TOOLS+OPTIONS, under the GENERAL tab, check the NAME AUTOCORRECT boxes. It will do it for you.

However, it will not correct any vba code, or some other things.

Also, having these checked when the db is in production and folks are using it can make things run slower. I usually leave it off, turn it on when I need it, then turn it off again.

I suggest you check HELP for all the details and how it works before you try it out.

Hope this helps--g
