I would like to somehow read itemized liquor, beer, and wine sales into an Excel spreadsheet that I use to track the bar inventory. I could do it on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. I can think of maybe 3 ways to accomplish this but I'm looking for some advice from you guys. 1) Can I do this using a Microsoft Query on one of the grind databases? 2) I have read about a file that can be enabled called the "item output file" which contains "all menu items as they are ordered". 3) Can I create a report using Crystal Reports that would have this data?
