Tracking changes made to text files exported from Pervasive

Hi,

I have a query about changes to text files and would be grateful for any advice that you might have.

We have a number of text files that are exported from a number of different pervasive based systems. Sometimes it is necessary to make slight manual changes to these files where the originating system has provided too many or not enough records. What we are looking for is a piece of software that can provide an audit of our manual changes made to these files.
