I need the ability to track what certtain users are doing on a few Macs. We possibly have one user deleting anothers files.

I am sorry if this is something simple but I do not know Mac software.

What is the best way to track this information:
File modification
User creation
File deletion

It would really help if it was poosible to track by computer also instead of userID.

Can you give me some hints or point me to a place that would help?

Thanks
Steve

You might help by explaining how different users are able to access files in another's account. Protecting access to files is why one employs user accounts.

Now if you are concerned about users accessing a shared directory, you should specify what type of network is being used.
