On my network here at work there is a community colour laserjet 4600. Someone is continually printing a job which is either corrupted or they have an incorrect driver installed because the printer starts spitting out hundreds of pages each with one or two lines of garbage. What I would like to do is find the person responsible for the print job. Everyone is printing straight to the IP address so there's no queue I can check. Is there some way to get a print log from the printer itself that would contain a MAC address or IP address of the person submitting the job?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
